Constructed from black Cordura or Anso-tex bulk nylon fiber yarn the sleeve provides exceptional durability with a doubled flat thickness of 0.090 inches - 0.020 inches. Operating effectively in severe abrasive conditions it extends hose life considerably. The sleeve has a maximum ambient temperature rating of 250°F.

The TOMPKINS PROTEC 1.25 IN ID Cordura Sleeve passes FMVSS 302 horizontal flame test and is MSHA accepted. Its smooth-bore design facilitates easy installation over hoses chains cables or springs securing with nylon cable ties or band clamps.

This abrasion protection sleeve offers excellent personal injury protection by deflecting the spray of hot hydraulic fluids in case of hose failure. It's also ideal for holding two or more hoses in a single bundle ensuring identical flex memory for all hoses in the group bundle.

Beyond reducing the need for bulkhead couplings it shields hoses required to pass through metal openings. The sleeve's self-renewing abrasion-resistant fabric thickens as it wears forming a more protective shield.
